Asetek 760GC (updated with user feedback)

Thread Starter
I just bought one today and am waiting for it to show up around the same time as my new build.
I have no idea if it will even fit the layout I have for my mini Itx build but I will give details along the way.

Product page is here (including a link to where they are sold)
http://www.asetek.com/desktop/gpu-a-combo-coolers/760gc.html

I don't even know if the product is new or just unpopular. Asetek manufactures many of the AIO packages that are sold under other brands (Antex, PNY, Corsair, Intel Thermaltake) and it has what looks like the 120X38mm radiator used in the H80 et. all.

For the cost it is definitely worth giving a shot rather than spending $250 on a tiny custom loop that will run into just as many roadblocks in a SFF case.

I'll keep you all posted. Cooler should arrive mid next week along with my case, mobo, GPU and fans.

Pictures for posterity.

A 120mm for both a CPU and a GPU is pretty much the dictionary definition of a bad idea...

Thanks for finding those, I was just looking for the kit and wasnt aware of the standard 580 setup they sold.
Apparently they came out just over a year ago and they only recently started selling the individual kits.

The TH review somewhat reflects my intentions, I have an EVGA 580 on the way and am going for an i5 3570k.
As long as the cooler can handle a moderate CPU OC and the GPU at minor OC I will be happy.
There just isnt space in my new build for a res or a second rad.
In the event the 580 doesnt fit i will probably get a 670 but we will cross that bridge later.

Just bought this from Asetek also. The Asetek 760GC will be used in a Antec 900 case and lets see if I can get it to cool two GPUs in SLi.
Got the Asetek 760GC yesterday and it won't work as is for SLi cooling. With the radiator at the back of the case the tubes would need to be longer.

So I plan to use it as it was intended and put one block on the CPU and the other on one of the video cards. I have another single Thermaltake Water 2.0 to put on the remaining video card.

If you can figure out a way to cleanly extend the tubing, it could be used on SLi video cards.

Mine showed up and I will get some pictures soon.

Both exchangers have side mounted hoses but the one that is closer to the rad has 90 degree fittings so SLI would be to restricted to run two cards with this loop.
Its not mentioned anywhere online but the radiator is 49mm thick.
Clearance on the GPU cooler is super low. You can mount the original shroud back on the card (which is fairly necessary with the squirrel cage blower cooling the VRM).

Cooler came in bulk brown box with padding. No retail pachaging and sparse instructions, essentially just the instructions for mounting the CPU block, no details on the components or GPU mounting.
Did arrive with plenty of extra screws and all the brackets you could use any asetek cooler on.

waiting on PSU and some custom wiring.

Was an IMMENSE pain schlepping everything in around that 580 and i will have to pull it all again to run cables under the mobo.

Looking good so far
buildpic

Hoses were much longer than I need for an sfx case but will be better mounted when I have the CPU sink in

Surfaces of the blocks were fair, could definitely use a lapping but exactly what you get with any other AIO cooler.

Edit: shown mounted to a 140 swiftech Helix and a120 PWM swiftech helix

Hey i was thinking of buying this cooler...

I have an i7 2600k and a gtx 580
I'm planning of overclocking the cpu to 4 Ghz
and the gpu clock to 900Mhz (from 772MHz)

Currently i am using stock coolers

When you overclock your cpu and gpu, can you please share the results because i want to know if this cooler is effective
Thanks
