That is actually a pretty good idea biggrin.gif wish I'd thought of that long time ago.

And 600rpm? Thats low. I currently have 6 fans running all at 1500rpm, what a noise, slowly driving me insane.

And nice setup, that rigs going fly (I am jealous!)

Thanks. I appreciate it.

Glad to be of help in the jealousy department biggrin.gif

PWM isn't all that old.. has really come into it's own in last year or so. I did it out of necessity, not out of knowledge. I was tired of having to remember to turn fans down, turn fans up, not turn them too low and have them stop or not start when I rebooted....yadda, .. yadda. Then i saw an Akasa 5 fan PWM splitter.. It worked but has way too many wires running to same connectors and after a couple of months of playing wires started fatiguing and breaking at connectors. In the meantime I saw the Gelid 5 fan PWM splitter for same price.

Ha! biggrin.gif

And yeah I know, I just never went over to PWM because they got on my nerves. No idea why though. That cable splitter would really be helpful and put a lot of strain off my connectors. Much better cable management too.
Just a shame I bought these fans not long ago, there isn't many good PWM fans for cheap.

All my fans are XLF-F1253 (LEDs!) which is a pain because they are all 3-pin designs frown.gif they're really good fans too (airflow)

Might have to RMA the board and fingers crossed I won't damage anything again.
