Should I reinstall Windows?

Currently running Win7 Ultimate x64. While I am currently not experiencing any problems, I am wondering if I should just go ahead and wipe and go back to Win7 Pro x64 since it looks to be leaner. Or should I just make the jump to Windows 8 (I have access to the OSs).

unnless ms lowered all delay they put from 400 ms to say at least 80 ms (i favor 17 ms)no use to go to w8.i would inspect each tweak (via ms)at speedguide.net then apply only the one for my situation

No. Ultimate can be as lean or rich as you want it to be, and running 8GB RAM there's no way you're low on resources.
