I would just take a dual-x or powercolor and paint the shroud white but the best looking shroud in white is a HD68xx/69xx (which is what the Mac edition is probably based off wink.gif )
Damn it, why won't they make white GPUs?! I know white PCBs are impossible because well, the pigment in white PCBs are poor solder masks and the solder points on the socket will probably be bridged all over
What was the point of making a shroud white when nobody's going to see one in a Mac (haha, idiots who buy idiot products)? And above that the board is black but at least the GPU will be facing the right side
actually gigabyte makes a gtx 680 with a white PCB linustechtips did an unboxing of it

It's galaxy. They make the card and it's having lots of bad reviews because of aforementioned solder masks problems and it's 500 bucks too ...

Sorry its been a whole week since an update frown.gif. Been busy. I was putting a few other rigs together over the past week. I bought a bunch of stuff off of fleabay to build some bad ass old school rigs just to have thumb.gif NF7-S v 2.0 with a Radeon 9800 XT, a Gigabyte GA-8N-SLI with SLI'ed 9800 GTX+'s, and a DFI Lanparty 870PT with a Radeon 3850 or 4670 AGP (if I could ever find one that doesn't sell for $90+ :wow:).

I painted the acrylic case divider white, and the fins that go on it black. I also made my PSU divider and mocked it up. I finished the second Titan window tonight also. thumb.gif

Shouldn't (knock on wood) be too hard to change the colour of the LED lighting up the logo on the Titan.

Thanks a bunch - and I can't wait to see the finished product.

Yes, it is def easy biggrin.gif. As for the LED lighting on the Titan, I'm not exactly sure but it appears to be some kind of illuminated paper stuff (like EL paper or something).

Looking good so far, but I am thinking another aspect of mosfet cpu cpu chipset loop. Because it's a reversed MB tray, CPU block inlet s cannot really go anywhere else, but the 2 long tubes are not parallel, infact all 3 have no connections in terms of visual language. I have a proposal, and I did some Photoshop tricks.

I don't have the same hardware so I cannot test anything, but visually, at least 2 lines should be parallel. Hope this is useful.

Well, they are old school to me but will always have a spot in my heart. I never owned a 9800XT or a 3850/4670 AGP... I had owned the first Radeon, the 8000, 8500, 9800 Pro 128 Mb, biggrin.gif. Antique to me is an Apple ][, Tandy 1000 models, or a C64 (Commadore 64), Intel 80286 (386, and 486) rigs, and lastly Cyrix CPU based rigs thumb.gif... and just because i'll throw in my old Sony portrait monitor word processor lol. If you were closer I could probably hook you up cheers.gif

Man, I wish you would have posted that yesterday lol.... i just repainted the tubes and tightened everything last night redface.gif. Hmmm... i may have to throw some tubing out and try this idea. +rep

I like your plan of keeping Titan's shroud. I am wondering if any waterblock company would think about designing one that fits within the shroud.
Another thing is Why there is no waterblock covering CPU and mosfet as one block. Yes it would be very motherboard-specific, and yes it would be a very small market. But isn't watercooling a small market comparing the whole PC industry? Besides, mosfet and CPU socket is from Intel design yellow/white/or-whatever-color-book.
Well technically yes but on the high-end boards IT'S NOT.
PowIR VRMs are basically Gigabyte-designed around not a intel yellowbook thing
You could use a full block from another board but the truth is the components can be everywhere smile.gif
Like example EX58-UD3R has 8 "phases" but UD5 has 12 phases and there are sellers selling "whole-range full motherboard blocks"
Truth is it will fit but it doesn't fit properly also in the intel white books they only specify and design the absolute minimum for operation, nothing about overclocking.
If a motherboard manufacturer wants to make a overclock-friendly board they have to design it themselves. The worst part is Intel actually recommended 6-phase VRM for LGA1366 but all the boards are 8 phase upwards anyway so the PCB layout is very different from what Intel designed

And also, MOSFET design is NOT in the books. Designers choose it themselves, intel leaves it up to them if not we'll be having 8 phase boards across the board (pun not intended)
If you doubt my Intel recommendation look at the DX58SO, it's so piss poor as a "extreme" board i wonder who even bought it. Cheaper maybe? Shoddy? Compared to the others, of course.
Even low-end X58 boards had 12 phases
