After seeing those pics, I must Jonah again:
With my poor man's budget, might splurge on a Holden....ahem, Pontiac GTO 6.0. They're going for ~$10k-18k w/ some low millage. Or a Terminator Cobra just for some SC whine fun
. My neighbor is an avid Mustang fan and is always wondering when my project car or "weekend" car will be in my drive-way
I agree with the wheel statement
... however they are some of the worst to clean
. I had slotted rotors and ceramic pads on mine... that got dirty pretty quick.
I'm not sure if you'd be completely happy with the GTO... I test drove a few and while the interior is nice, the overall rid just wasn't for me. You can pick up an 04-06 CTS-v for that price
. I got mine with $9k worth of bolt ons for $19k and 113k on the clock
. You can find E39 M5's in that price range too (just make sure its an 01-03).
I'm a huge fan of the Terminators also. If i were going to have a mustang, that would be it. I like IRS so for stangs its my only option... and that whine.... grrrr gotta love it! To give you an idea my full bolton V with a dyno tune got beat by a 485RWHP 03 cobra by 1.5 car length from a 20mph roll up to 140mph. Needless to say he was like what the hell? lol
-UPDATE- I ordered my laptop slimline DVD-RW drive to go in my dual SSD/optical bay
. Had to trim up a huge tree posing a threat to the house yesterday and today so I only got the stainless steel Lan Li wheels on the case yesterday
