Which PSU for SLI 560ti

Thread Starter
I'm putting together a 3570k build and I'm wondering which PSU I should get. I've got a 560ti already but will most probably add a second. I'd prefer it if the PSU was modular.

Budget isn't an issue. I'm aware how important the PSU is and don't want to sacrifice build quality for a "good deal".

Will be buying from these sites primarily:

http://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-hardware
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/index.php
http://www.aria.co.uk/
http://www.amazon.co.uk/
http://www.ebuyer.com/

Thanks.

First one is on a website I'm not familiar with so I'll have to give that a miss.

Second looks good, shame about the colour. The rest of my build will be much darker but oh well.

Third is out of stock currently (buying in the next few days) and is priced enough above the NZXT PSU to make me hesistate.

So I guess I'll be going with the second unless someone has an alternative that comes in black smile.gif

There are many good options available on the UK market, but obsidian pointed out the best ones really... you can't beat the Lepa G 650 values wise (it's internally identical to the new Corsair HX 650 Gold, and it comes with better connectivity as well while being considerably cheaper), and the Hale90 650W is unbeatable at that price, there's nothing comparable (quality/performance wise) at or close to its price.

Yeah, I can't go for the Lepa as it's on a website I'm unfamiliar with. Same problem with the HX 750 though I'm ever so slightly more familiar with dabs. I also just found out that the Hale only comes with a 2 year warranty which is a deal breaker for me.

The Seasonic seems to be a solid choice. I've heard good things from them; heard good things about the Corsair that's based off of it, and it has a 5 year warranty. Don't think I'll need one any longer than that as 5 years is around the time I usually upgrade.

Scan's page says otherwise....

In the past I've dealt with the manufacturer with regards to warranties, so I assume the description on the Hale page would be the accurate one right?
yes that would be the correct one i have seen many mistakes on retailer pages in regards to warranty
