Make sure you enabled 1080p. biggrin.gif

I got to say this is pretty amazing. I'm really glad I went with NVIDIA this time around, it looks so much better with PhysX. I recently built my friend a new computer and he went from a 9800GT to a GTX 670 and this video really made him feel good about his new computer.

Figured i'd share, especially if anyone is debating on upgrading for the game. It's a good watch even if they aren't very good at the game. thumb.gif

Wow, I too am very glad I went with NVIDIA this time. I got a 670 a week before the Borderlands 2 promo, it died a week after the Borderlands 2 promo, and I issued an RMA with newegg, and when I received the new 670, I got BL2 in the box! Newegg FTW! thumb.gif
I was expecting physx to make a slight change in the environment, and only occasionally make an appearance, but this video proved my expectations wrong! I'm so excited for BL2 now biggrin.gif

The PhysX looks cool, but I don't think I will be upgrading my video card anytime soon I'm still running a Radeon 6970

I cant believe they would compair a 5 year old card against a brand new one lol. They could of atleast shown last gen vs this gen.

I own a 9800GT.
The question is, should i spend $230 to shoot fabric.

Exactly what I'm thinking.

Is it worth to spend 230 dollars to get those extremely tiny details that I probably wont even notice a half hour into the game... or save myself that money and just turn it off.

Also since I play with 1650x1050 and not 1080p, my FPS will actually be higher then showcased here. My FPS for 90% of games is just fine. Nothing in this video proved that a 660 is a MUST-HAVE for 250/9800 GT users. The only thing they did prove is how little games have evolved over the last 4 years. Why is a 9800 GT able to still run modern up-to-date games?

A 2002/3 card would not be able to run 2006/7 games on close to the same settings. Make more demanding games, then I might see a real reason to switch.

"Omg I can shoot a piece of cloth, and blood! Amazing!" o_o" <--- My face.
