So how long will the 3570k one last in maxed settings of a single monitor?
Longer than any other processor currently available.

For the specific length of time the processor will perform to your satisfaction, please refer to Miss Cleo.

Now that the AMD-8350 has came out, how have your guys' opinions changed if at all?

^ Actually that wouldn't be necessary true. The next-generation consoles like the new Xbox and PS4 will have games that are very directly optimized for AMD Piledriver cores (or future generation) - and the same will probably go for their PC ports.

Any rumors on how many cores will be utilized? Or hyperthreading?

Consider This.

Intel Core i5 3570K / FX 8350
MSI Z77 mPower / Asus Sabertooth 990FX / Asus Crosshair V Formula 990FX
G.Skill Ripjaws X 2x4GB 1600 CL7 / CL9
Sapphire 7970 Dual X OC (With the new drivers, its faster than the GTX 680. And, you can overclock as well if you want to. Cheaper than a 670 thumb.gif)
Cooler Master TPC 812
Seasonic X Series 660W
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM
Case of your choice.

Edit: You can throw in an SSD if you want, but it doesn't really improve gaming performance.

Im actually planning on building a different computer than what was originally stated now, with i7 3770k, gtx 680, Z77 mpower motherboard, and other things, if interested in specific specs ill post them, but im having a hard time getting my budget to agree with me, so is it really worth it to have an SSD? im not an impatient person, and mainly will use this for gaming. Thanks!

A SSD is not essential for gaming. It will make the loading of the stages faster. But for example we are talking about 3 sec instead of 8 sec load wait. Biggest performance gains for SSD I see are in Windows OS, making updates and changings drivers way faster.

There is a great hybrid drive on sale for only $49. EXCELLENT VALUE! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?AID=10440897&PID=1225267&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-cables-_-na-_-na&SID=QcQ63C_FEeKaSubHJGciMAgTj3_0_gIK_0_0&Item=N82E16822148591

3770K and 3570k are about the same for gaming.
