It's possible. Get the gtx470 to about 900MHz core. Look here for some findings:

Possible Yes, I had my SLI setup in the high 800mhz. And I could still push more if I invested in a better GPU cooling option.

Well i can get hold of a twin frozr 2 power edition card for cheap which has triple voltage control, would that be good enough for possible 900mhz?
