Best backup utility?

Thread Starter
I have a WD 2TB external hardrive that I have been using as a backup for a few weeks now. I noticed today that I have taken up nearly 1TB of that 2TB while I've only used about 500GB on my main HDD. When I go to my backup, I cant find any of the things that I am backing up. Maybe I am just a storage noob but I don't know tongue.gif So what is your backup utility of choice instead of the default windows utility and what can I do to remedy my "problems" with my backup drive.
