Any big guys? 6'+ (or guys with a disproportional hand:body ratio) find the Galaxy Note too big?

Thread Starter
Currently I am using an iPhone 4S, and I was considering switching to the iPhone 5 but have thought about the Note2. My phone basically is a phone, im. & web browsing device, apps are not of importance to me.

Is the note comfortable to you or does it still feel awkward?

This last question is just people in general but currently the largest phone I have had is the iphone 4S, I think the Note2 may become problematic at clubs/bars where I am generally not wearing loose fitting pants and this 5.5" tablet like thing may be too big for my pockets and stick out awkwardly.

I'm exactly 6'1 and I find the Galaxy Note pretty comfortable really. At first I thought it would be too big, but after holding it, I find it good to hold in the hands.

The Note 2 is not bigger than the original Note. The size of the screen is bigger and it means that the screen takes a bigger proportion of the bezel. The actual size of the device remained the same.

I'm 6'4'' my hands are huge and I thought the note was still huge. I've only played with one at Best Buy, but I still thought it was cool. I'm just a Nexus guy. I will never get a non-Nexus. So don't listen to me.

I'm 6' ish and have the Note. It depends what kind of pants you have. If they have shallow pockets then it sticks out, but if they are deeper you are good. I usually put mine in a jacket pocket, I don't use my pants pockets much.

You should seriously consider it though. It has been an amazing phone for me and I think it is really something special. A lot of people with iphones that I show it to are pretty amazed.

It's not on the list of phones that I have owned, however I have used one extensively (multiple 8 hour periods at a time) and found that at 6'1" it took getting used to but was definitely amazing and worth it!!

I'm considering the GN2 for my next handset.

I'm 6'2" (6'3" with shoes) and upgraded to the Note from a iPhone 3GS. It takes about 2 days to where you won't want to look at a 3.5" screen. My gf who is 5'6" uses a iPhone 4 and she wants my Note. The screen real estate is great and I can text one handed with the way I hold my phone (same way I held my 3GS when one handed texting). Its a bit of a stretch to one handed hit top of screen aps but over all I would not give up my Note.

The Android marketplace is really good and very few iPhone aps aren't on Google Play. I prefer Android 10-1 over my old 3GS or my gf's iPhone 4.

I upgraded my phone to 4.0.4 ICS the day I got it, and rooted it a few days later. VERY easy to upgrade os and root. It was worth the root for the wifi tether alone. Now when on trips and on 4G I can let my sons wifi tether their ipods
