Random BSODs

Thread Starter
I recently got a laptop and it's been giving me BSODs at seemingly random times, not just when I'm doing something stressful to it. It seems to be linked to a "ntosknrl.exe", but I can't find any other files it's referring to. I have stock HDD and ram, both tested and passed. Can someone take a look at my crash logs and see if they can find something I overlooked? It's still under warranty but I'd rather not go through the process if it is not necessary.

Minidump.zip 1459k .zip file

Thanks
Rig

Looks related to your graphics driver and/or hardware (nvidia) from the dumps.
Have you looked at upgrading graphics driver at all?

It's a 650m, which only has beta drivers and I (had) the most recent one. An update just came out a few days (9/13) ago so I'll install that and let you know if that solved the problem. Btw, could you tell me how you came to the conclusion that it was the gpu drivers?

I loaded up your minidump files and ran the analyze command.

---------

It has blamed PCI.sys as the culprit, however it was likely not the problem - the nvidia driver is deeper on the stack (not shown) - but it is clearly in the analysis (nvlddmkm).
It *may not* be the GPU driver, it could always be the hardware, but if it is a BETA driver it is likely that.

That did indeed fix the problem. Nine months later, I have had three BSODs relatively back-to-back. Using your method of analysis I got these results:
