I have a few questions about this:
Can you have two HD's one in each channel?
Also , can you make a dua-boot when using diffrente interfaces?
Can you make one of the hd's invisible to the other after the dual-boot?
thanks!

Well yes you can Run Both IDE and SATA HDD drives on a Motherboard. However SATA and IDE run on Different channels so you will have one plugged into IDE and the Other into SATA. You cant really make the othe HDDi= invisible in the BIOS or Windows without disabling it or not having it connected.

actually, I think you might be able to do that. In windows xp go to Control Panel>Performance and maintenance>Administrative tools> Computer management>disk management. right click the drive you want to make invisible and select "change drive letters and paths. click on the drive letter and click remove. This is, of course, assuming you're running xp. i don't know how to do it in any other OS. try it and see if it works
