All cherry mx switches does have a same actuation point, but different reset points. The MX blue have a higher reset point than other switches (except mx green, its just like a stiffer blue). The MX blues reset point is actually higher than the actuation point.

I never realized how little I care about back lighting until I got my rapid. I will never buy a backlit key oars again. Before the rapid I had 7 assorted bran backlit keyboards. Of course I do t have LEDs in my mouse or computer case either so uniform black look abounds.
