mem okay button boot and push it and let it do its thing it will cycle through profiles till it finds one that works. What kind of ram are you using out of curiousty. Also you should have red lights theat are by the components are any of them staying on. Try removing your gpu all that and your ram and boot you get beeps or red light by the ram. If you dont its failing post on your board/cpu if you do try mem okay. or post where the light stays on if any.

Edit if you have to rma asus is great about rmas so dont worry.

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8Z77V_LX/#download
Download the P8Z77-V LX BIOS 1201 to your Desktop and unzip the file.
READ the PDF!!! (you have to rename the file to the correct name of your mobo)
P8Z77VLX.CAP
copy/paste that P8Z77VLX.CAP to your USB stick.
Use an empty one (not necessary tho) and format it into the FAT 32 file system (right mouse on usb stick --> format --> "choose" FAT 32 and not NTFS --> Quickformat it and go go go
Now plug in your FAT32 usb stick into an usb port ON your mobo (at back of PC-case)
Reboot your PC and go into the BIOS
Search for "EZ-Flash" and run it
Browse to your usb stick and load the P8Z77VLX.CAP
Confirm to update your BIOS
WARNING: BIOS Updates CAN go wrong. I never had problems with 50 ASUS mobo's I flashed, but it's ALWAYS at your own risk. But it's needed to be sure your mobo has the latest "driver" or BIOS...
What I do know is this:
After your PC is flashed, turn of PC.
Do a CMOS reset (read mobo manual. It's a button or something you have to push) this will put BIOS to "reset" so all the thing you ever changed in the BIOS are gone (OC settings) --> input them again if needed...
After the CMOS reset, boot PC and if you use CPU-Z you can verify if the BIOS really is 1201
All done

Thank you, i'll get started as soon as possible. I think this may be a problem.

Temps are wrong? What do you mean?

Use RealTemp to monitor your CPU temp.

When you're in desktop, running nothing, what are your idle temps? (is it OCd?)

Can you use a Prime test to see what the temps are under load?

Did you do a clear CMOS?

Well, AI Suite shows -127 c, Speccy shows 97-100c, and HWMonitor shows 50-55c Idle, which i believe is the correct temperature.
CPU-Z Tells me that the clock speed Multiplier is x30.0 to x.43 and the core speed jumps from 3090 MHz to 4429.81 MHz

I did clear CMOS.

And after the CMOS reset, did you load default settings in BIOS?

And try RealTemp to monitor your cpu temp.

DL it from here: (just choose any mirror)

50-55 C idle is on the warm side for the cooler you have. You may consider re-seating your heatsink, unless your ambient room temperature is rather hot to begin with. Also, I'd consider checking your temperatures when your processer is under load.

I did. Turns out my heatsink is loose. pressing it in while making a prime95 test would lower temps from 95 to 65-70
