Instead, why don't y ou use the vmeasure points provided on the motherboard to see which is most accurate?

I just bought this board today combo'd with a 3770K. I'm too lazy to take apart my water cooling and everything in my rig to change everything out so I'm thinking of returning it, =(

What am I missing out on switching to this board from my current one besides IVB

Also, whats with the lack of build pics with this board?

UEFI, better support (since it's a newer platform), PCIe 3.0, native USB 3.0, native SATA 6Gb/s, better SLI/Crossfire experience (less latency due to lack of NF200). You do sacrifice 4-way SLI/Crossfire and 3-way SLI but shouldn't matter to most users.

I've got a couple of questions if someone doesn't mind answering them.

  1. Is the board water cooling only? I only just noticed the in/out for WC but if I get the board I need to be able to run on air only.
  2. I'd also like to run 2 7970s, one RevoDrive and one PCIe sound card. That is possible right? It looks like the 2 GPUs will run 8x, the bottom slot (Revo) will run at x4 and the PCIe x1 will run at x1. Just want to make sure cause some of the boards are stupid and will only runs slots at x4.

Thanks! thumb.gif

1. There is a fan on the heat sink to cool it. Runs cool(Level 5 Fan) don't even think you need water.
2.
Should work there are 3xPCIE e.o slots
There is only 1 PCIE 1x but its under the 1st PCIE3 socket which i just checked so dual GPU you can't fit a soundcard...
PCI 1x is the top socket. SO sound card has to be on top of 1st GPU.
