I see someone has problem of the reading value from measuring probe .

Bcz it is far away from each power source . So it will exist some inaccuracy .

And each mobo will have different inaccuracy .thumb.gif

wth.gif no problem reading here bud ..your mobo feeds 1.72v instead of 1.65V (set in bios)
,what do you mean?

Unless you were talking about somebody else, in that case disregard this. biggrin.gif

Hardware monitor read the volatge from super IO or registry .

That voltage probe measuring from circuit directly will has inaccuracy depends on the distance or difference of resistance .

If u set 1.65 then pwm will give 1.65 for sure .

1.72 is something wrong by resistance on circuit smile.gif

Ok, How are you enjoying the motherboard anyway? Highest overclock, voltages? CPU-Z!?

i'm having problems with temperatures for a reason i have not yet determined

In IBT or OCCT: Linkpack, I see 81-82C under max stress when running 4.6ghz with 1.288 - 1.296 vcore.

Is this even normal for Sandy Bridge with a properly installed nh-d14?

my idle temps are 32-36C (ambient is like 18-23C this time of year) and gaming load temps are 52-58C, but those stress tests for a stable OC go way beyond what i'm comfortable with. so, i gotta figure out how to bring the temps down, until then i'm heat limited.

I'm not surprised at those temps with an NH-D14. I wouldn't go pushing major OC's with air cooling. Although low 80's isn't bad, you're never going to see those temps all the time if you're not benchmarking.

Try another reseat, i would suggest only a tiny bit of TIM, rice grain.
Have you got good airflow within the case?
