Just quickly, is anybody else getting BSODS on shutdown or restart on ETRONXHCI.sys?
I fixed it a while back by updating to 0.111 now at 0.115 and a new install of windows it BSODS.

0.115 should fix the BSOD problem. It did for me at least. If it still BSOD's afterwards I'm at a loss.

bought a new board...im encountering a small issue. After a fresh install of windows 7 ultimate, i installed the drivers for Ethernet (broadcom) from the CD that was provided....and even after the driver installation, windows does not detect any ethernet device. The device manager does not list any ethernet device either. Should i just RMA this board or is there a fix for this?

HI
and sorry for my poor English !

First i want to say i am very new in overclocking world and i know only the basic tricks for overclocking. I have a issue with this board and i try to fix it many times whitouth succes.
Here is my Configuration

Asrock Z77 OC Formula
BIOS - 1.80 12/7/2012
Intel Core i7 3770k (Brand new too)
Corsair DOMINATOR Platinium 2133MHz CMD16GX3M4B2133C9 (4X4GB) 9-11-10-30 1.65V ver5.12
H80 Corsair Water Cooling
Radeon HD7850
Blue-ray DVD
Raptor
SSD
and 500TB Black WD HDD

The problem is wierd.

Firstable i was able to run this configuration with 2600k , reached 5GHz Stable and i think the OC on the CPU is not the problem. But when i try to run the RAM on XMP 1.3 Settings , and manualy set 2133Mhz , the pc wont post

After many attemps i decide to parchuse a new CPU - 3770k , because the 2600k has memory controller 1333 and the 3770k has 1600MHz default speed.

Nothing changed i only run the ram on 1866Mhz and keep resaving BSOD.

Here is the Things i have tryed already:

1.I see that on the RAM Sticks is writen 9-11-10-30 timing , but in the BIOS , when i use XMP 1.3 it shows 9-11-10-27 mad.gif
2.I used all of the bios revisions that come relliese at this moment and no change.
3.I try to manualy set the timings (30 and the 27) but no succes.
4.I try to manualy set the voltage no change
I have no CPU Overclocking settings apllyed i want to run only the Sticks at 2133Mhz first.

Guyz i have read all the forums and all the problems with this board , but seems no right answer at this moment.

I dont know where to search , at least you guyz help me to run the RAM at 2133MHz.

If you have any questions ask me , i will reply as soon as i can.

Again i want to say sorry for my English !

If you want to upload some Picture just ask.

Thank you

hello Paclevkov and welcome to "mad house" called OCN thumb.gif, you provided pretty good info about your system ,but the most helpful is still missing ..called "Timing Configurator":
this should help ,also i'm pretty sure your RAM is Hynix based IC's (see if you have tRRSR 4 or 5=>try 5)
the 9-11-10-27 instead of 30 is fine

This is the PC

The ram stick see the timings

However when i set the XMP Profile and F10 to resset the PC , the PC turns off and after 3-4 sec. turns ON with no screen, then restarts 3-4 times and give me the screen with 1333Mhz

What should i do i keep thinking i must set other settings to run this ram at 2133MHz pushing the voltage did nothing

I hope this forum will help me .. i realy hope

And pls tell me more info about The timing Configurator and how to use it .
I think i must set up the Speed at BIOS and then with the TC set the right timings for best performance.
I changed the tRRSR to 5 in BIOS but the PC Wont start again, changed in OS did nothing...

First thing you want to do is clear CMOS/load optimized defaults
-load one of Nick's profiles (this will set up fixed mode )
-choose XMP/set your primary timings just like on the stick (9-11-10-2T<=try 2T first )
-set your DRR voltage 1.65~1.67v (you can also try to lower voltage -some bords will give more than you ask for ,some as much as .07v ..it happen to me )
-set VCCSA 1.15~1.2v (you may need more ,this is important voltage setting especially when running 4x4 which is very hard on IMC
-set VCCIO voltage 1.2v
-choose 2133 frequency in bios and DRAM TIMING MODE properly
remember running all four DIMMS is strenuous on CPU and some won't play nice, try your luck with 8Gb first

@alienware
I would strongly advise that you RMA the mother board as you might have already that around 20 percent of the mothers have issues out of the box and these are due to hardware faults rather then software Issues if you were unlucky enough to get one of those defective units Its better to save time and Try to get a replacement. Its also rumoured that still most of the reaplced units out of the box carry faults. I wish you the very best of luck that you might get a better board Or Just buy a Ethernet card and live with your existing board if everything else is working fine
