So I set PLL to enabled instead of auto and saved my profile. Then I completely cleared CMOS and reload those settings. So far so good, knock on wood. I have to admit, I am really impressed with Windows 8 combined with this board. With Windows 8 it seems to be much more stable and 8 seems to be doing pretty good considering it's a new release.

My boots have been flawless lately. I was even able to take my offset down another .002 to +.001 and LLC of 2 @ 4.8 GHz. Now, I was doing some messing around with my SSD, doing some benchmarks and wasn't too happy with the results they seem to have dropped. So I installed Intel Rapid Storage and sure enough my boot problems came back. So if anybody is having boot problems and they think their OC settings are fine try uninstalling Rapid Storage and see if it helps. thumb.gif

1. I load default settings from the BIOS. Then used the CLR CMOS Button for sure.
2. I Chouse Stage 3 From the NickShin's OC Menu at 4200MHz and a fixed voltage has set
3. I Load XMP Profile 1.3 (i dont set the Speed yet) and set the Timings like : 9-11-10-27-2 (Memory Performance Level Auto)
4.I Changed the DRAM Voltage from 1.505V to 1.720V
5.I Changed the VCSSA Voltage from 0.928V to 1.193V
6.I Changed the tRRSR from 4 to 5
7.i Chouse DDR3-2133 from the DRAM Frequency menu and save and quit
The machine turns off emidiatly and start after 2 sec. with no screen and thats it .. after 3 attemps it turns on and shows 1333MHz at the DRAM Frequency mad.gif
Any suggestion ?
p.p. When i chouse Frequency 1866 , the machine start normaly but its not the speed that i want , because my ram sticks provide 2133MHz OC.
Any suggestions are welcome!
The Nick Shih's profiles voltages are not the same for every CPU, he used an Average.
You need to increase CPU voltage smile.gif

@Socks keep you warm]
Why do i need to increase the CPU Voltage ? I have tested the CPU at the 4200MHz speed with 1.26V and its stable perfectly! I dont think the CPU Voltage its the problem here.. I pushed the CPU Voltage before and its did nothing...

I think nobody can help me here , because that is not usual problem .. so i will return the ram sticks back to the corsair seller and also will send a e-mail with my discontent.

I tested the machine with 4x4GB Corsair Vengance at 1866MHz factory speed and i just load the XMP 1.3 Profile and thats it , no need to increase any voltages ,and no need to set the timings . The ram run stable at 1866MHz and i will search for new sticks.

So i see that you cant help me with my problem and i forgot it.

Now can you tell me what RAM should i buy to run at 2133MHz stable ? pref 4x4GB

Thank you

Sorry about that, yes it sounds like your ram then, usually 2 second boot time hang.
I would look into a GSKILL Trident series.

Good to hear mate! Did you have to loosen your timings?

And if this is a number can you tell me where to find it ?

Thanks again:)
