odd. I updated to P2.0 and its there for me.

Try restoring from the backup bios and see if it returns? Maybe your flash went funky.

After updating to 2.0, I seem to have lost ALL of my BIOS settings that I saved in multiple profiles, oh well luckily yesterday I took some pictures of my specs biggrin.gif

I'm also hoping I can use the boards built in cooling for once, going to figure out how I'm going to attach my 10mm copper pipe to the barbs and have no leaks.

I'm not sure what it might be called over there, but something like RTV Silicone that we have here is by far the best at making sure you get no leaks.

I cracked the outlet on the CPU block a bit by tightening too much so I just put RTV on the threads and no leaks now. It was drippling before I put that there.
That thing works wonder for anything basicly.

Another good thing would be self-vulcanizing tape if you got too big hoses for the outlets, that thing is awesome aswell.

anyone has asus xonar dgx ?

i am using only pcie x16 vga at the 1st pcie x16 slot.

today i got asus xonar dgx pcie x1 card.

i tested in every empty slot on the mainboard but my system (win8 x64) never detects a new device. device manager does not show any warning.

i took out card and touch it. it is warm but nothing looks out of order.

soon i will test on another pc (intel x58)

btw pcie slots are fine because when i try aver pcie x1 tv card it works without problem.

I havent even overclocked the cpu yet... 1866 seems to be fine with prime, what am I missing?

I have only seen this with the GSkill trident 2000+ mhz memory. I would return the memory and buy corsair. There is a lot of issues with the memory modules you are using even though they are xmp ready.

Yes, you will lose all your settings because it erases the current bios completely and the new version gets written to the bios chip.

Are they GSkill Tridents? If so there has been a lot of issues with those memory modules at those high speeds. I would install just 2 memory modules in DUAL channel mode. Refer to the user manual to make sure you are properly seating the ram in the correct memory banks/dimms. If that does not work install the memory module that worked and update the bios to the latest version on asrocks website. After bios is up to date, install two memory modules in dual channel.

What version of windows 8 are you using? OEM, system builders or full retail? Have you installed the latest windows 8 driver on asus website? What happens after driver is installed? Have you tested the sound card in windows 7 or another computer?
