Hey guys just got this board (updated to bios 2.00) and trying to make it work with corsair platinum 32gb (4x8) 2133 ram. Anyone running this combo and willing to share their settings? Everything is on default right now with a 3770k and I loaded xmp, but cannot get it to boot properly. I haven't had too much time to play with it yet, just looking for some help to get started.

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I frequently have problems with rapid oc.

It's a great tool when working correctly. Quite often right after entering windows, if I try to hit the "+" button to bump the vcore it glitches.

The voltage seems to starts at 0.600V, so I have to hold the plus button down until it gets to the right value. It will bsod from lack of voltage if just pressed once or twice.

The other problem I have is the voltage will hit a wall... at say 1.52v , even though the max voltage set is higher. The on-screen will show it going up as it should to 1.6V, but os software and a multimeter show it has stopped at 1.52v

Anyone experience anything similar?

Wow, I just spent the last 2 hours trying to boot 2 different sets of memory rated at 2133, 8gb and 32gb and no matter what the system cannot boot properly at 2133 with XMP or manually setting the ram speed to 2133. I then changed it to 2200 and I'm able to boot without issue. Is this strap broken, anyone else experiencing the same?

Hello Guys. I need you all help.

I got this brand new mobo last week and finally I am playing with it very lightly.

I have try on two SSD and I could not boot up to Window completely. It seems like if it hang, the next time it would boot all the way to the desktop. Then the next time I boot, it would just hang at the Window boot up but no blue screen. So every other time it would boot all the way.

I have everything on default.

Can someone help me? I don't know how to troubleshoot it.

Thanks.

Hi all, sound and watercooling questions, I'm looking at getting a new mobo and this one is at the top of my list, I just wanted to know if anyone has experience with the digital out from the Realtek 898 on this board. I read elsewhere that to use the digital/optical out for gaming a licence is required or something? Something about Dolby Digital codecs with optical out..

If anyone here with a hometheatre/surround system has it working fine with games I'd be interested to know. I currently have an older mobo with a discrete soundcard doing this job. It would be nice to find out if this mobo supports this out of the box. It's hard to find out info about the ALC898 let alone its' features with individual mobo's.

Can the hdmi out be used as a sound output or is it tied into onboard video?

Also, with regard to the watercooling fittings, what size tubing is required exactly? I read in this thread that the barb fittings aren't removable either?

Cheers

Looks like tubing from barbs to 90 degree adapter. I think I see a ziptie in there.

Only answering ya wc question the barbs on the mobo block default is 3/8 5/8 tubing... I tried the 7/16 5/8 tubes before it does work too...
