That little sucker was just too loud. I disconnected it. Don't need it since the liquid flow takes care of business.

Those 3/8" stubby ports are a huge PITA though.
I would much rather they had just left G1/4 holes that you could fit with fittings of your choosing than be forced to use those stubby 3/8"s they chose.

The 3/8" size is bad enough, but the fact that they are so short is really annoying. I had a hard time getting the tubing secure in the first place. And then I sprung my first leak ever inside a case at one of those 3/8" connections after I made a very slight adjustment in the tension on one of the tubes elsewhere in the loop -- I hadn't been expecting that since the loop had been fine for several weeks up until then and the change in the amount of tension seemed so slight that I never suspected it would be enough to cause any problem anywhere. Fortunately, I had had everything wrapped well enough, and the space beneath was just empty air all the way down to the bottom of the case, so no damage occurred.

I am new to this motherboard. The oc was so easy. Nothing compare to my Asus x57 3 SLI I had from 3 years ago. I ran at 4200 ghz and its stil work fine. The fan didnt kick in hard at all. I wonder how far higher I can do it. I am still very new to this. I have not install the software. I dont know what I am doing.

My Sound Properties under the Control Panel takes 5 minutes or more before it open.

Does anyone know why that is and how to resolve this?

How do I disable the HDMI port that comes with this motherboard?

The Asrock Formula software doesn't work quite right for me, but I only know it's not working quite right because I have enough experience to tell. So if you're new to it I'd say leave it alone for now.

Never had that happen to me before, could be antivirus/security software, could be one of the pieces of sound hardware are taking a while to initialize or be recognized by windows, or could be the drivers. Try disabling antivrus, then open sound properties. If that's not it, then try unplugging audio equipment one at a time (speakers, headphones, if your moniter has speakers switch from HDMI cable to DVI). If that don't work, try disabling audio devices one at a time in device manager under "sound, video and game controllers".

That's all I can think of.

Same as above: in Device Manager under "sound, video and game controllers", there are two devices called "High Definition Audio Device" (you might have more if you have HDMI from your graphics card). For me the bottom "High Definition Audio Device" is the HDMI connection. To be sure which one is which, just disable them both and reboot when it asks you to. When you come back into windows, open "playback devices" to see what's there. Then go into in Device Manager under "sound, video and game controllers" again and enable just one "High Definition Audio Device" and look under "playback devices" to see which device becomes available when you turn it on. It'll either be your HDMI or speakers/headphones. You should be able to tell which device is your HDMI now, so keep that one disabled. If you uninstall it, it will probably just get reinstalled whenever you reboot so I think just disabling it is your best bet.

Hope that helps. smile.gif

In bios under North Bridge Configuration set the iGPU Multi-Monitor option to disabled.
