Look in the manual if u are unsure. It's #32 in the "Motherboard Layout" a.k.a. the 2nd page of the manual booklet. It's called "BIOS Selection Jumper."

Change the jumper setting to turn on the other BIOS. See what happens.

Lol thanks a lot for all your help man. I just talked to ASRock support, and he said CPU defective, it has been locked and my 3570K now is 3570 pretty much frown.gif

There seems to be some problem with temps in my 2700k.

On IBT and OCCT: Linkpack, the max temp I see is 81C. This is with an OC of 4.6GHz. my vcore isn't that high either. its anywhere from 1.288 to 1.312.

I got the Noctua NH-D14, so I don't understand why the temps are so high.

My ambient temps are in low 20's C.

I got the AS5, NT-H1, and GELID extreme,

i tried the NT-h1 and gelid and both give around these same temps...


Would really appreciate some input. Thanks.

IF you need the extra cores, first thing i would do in contact Intel to get a replacement, it's not functioning as a K series processor.

What is more accurate, HWMonitor from CPUID or HWiNFO64? I'm getting VCore readings that are .08 different.

Use CPU-Z to monitor CPU Voltage.
