standard resolutions are 1600 x 900, 1680 x 1050 , 1920 x 1080 or 1920 x 1200. anyway a HD 7950 OC is more than enough for even 1920 x 1200. Sapphire HD 7950 950 Mhz edition and Gigabye HD 7950 Windforce are good options.

If you want to spend more and get a HD 7970 Ghz , you can consider the Sapphire HD 7970 Ghz Vapor-X and Gigabyte HD 7970 Ghz. My pick is the sapphire card even though gigabyte also is very good.

One more question,

Will I be able to get a steady 120 fps on a 120Hz monitor playing battlefield 3 and other games (high/ultra) with these specs ?

i5 3570k
ASrock extreme4
8gb g.skill ram
Gigabyte 7970 GHz edition

The 120Hz monitor I plan to get is a BenQ xl2410t (24")

Thanks smile.gif

Not at max settings. If you want those kinds of FPS on BF3, then you need to get a GTX690, HD7990 or go SLI/Crossfire. I say since money is not an option, then do that!
