Should have just gone with the Crucial 10th Anniversary Edition. They are the Ballistix's with a different heatspreader.

Yes, but they can't do 1000mhz with 2.25v and passive cooling.

on topic:
I have those modules and I'm running them with a 4-4-4-8 @ 1000mhz with a 2.25v. http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=128537

Although 4-4-4-12 is not bad, if you could though, you can try 4-4-4-4 and 2.25v.

thanks nasgul,

and todd the main reason i got these were because i have some crucial ballistic i bought a while ago and i thought that was what was wrong with my dfi board, so i ended up with 2 pretty good sets of ram and a dfi board that still ahd issues , now im just trying to see what these can do
