Damn.... Okay thanks. To double check, the molex connector is the large rectangular black one(that looks like it has 2 out of 4 pins) that plugs into the PSU? I have a multimeter, but its not at the house....

Any other suggestions? frown.gif

I guess its good that i had a photoshoot an hour before this happened :

Not to pour salt on an open wound or poke fun at your expense, but I hope you've learned a valuable lesson here. Never plug and unplug anything while the system is under power. mellowsmiley.gif

Also, I would hope that you leave the part about plugging/unplugging fans out of your RMA request as I do believe doing so doesn't help your cause. I am not perfect by any means and I am aware that none of us are impervious to these types of issues. But before I ever submit my RMA requests, I make sure to give them the thrice over. If anything sounds like it can give Mfr pause or cause enough to dismiss their honoring of the warranty, I fix/omit it before I submit. Hopefully you omitted this, or hopefully I've misunderstood how this came about. thinking.gif

If those fans were connected to the Mainboard, I would have suggested changing the header(s) to see if that fixes it but since the Fan connectors route directly to the H100 pump block, I got nothin fer ya other than the friendly advice I have imparted regarding RMA submissions. Hopefully things work out for you. Always hate to see a problem crop up for any system. typer.gif

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, i agree now that in hindsight i was being pretty dumb. I would never have disconnected a SATA or PCIE or power cable, i guess i just thought a fan would be harmless if removed since its so damn simple tongue.gif I still cant believe that plugging in/out the fan would break a H100, but i guess its the only viable solution.

I submitted an RMA request yesterday night, and still havent received any emails or anything at all. If i dont get an email by tomoro night, ill need some OCN help in tracking down a Corsair rep frown.gif

Until then, im running the H100 fans off of my mobo headers (since the pump is magically still working....). Besides my H100 going ka-put, my Sentry-2 fan controller also has to be RMAd. Whats next? frown.gif

You can always run your fans off a PSU molex directly, or use a fan controller if you have one too.
With the stock fans, they'll be pretty darn loud @ 100% but it would work at least until you got your replacement fans, etc.

Personally I'd use my own controller over the one built into the H100, so it wouldn't be an issue - but again that's just me.

Id do that, but id prefer to retain the functionality of the H100 if i could.

Be patient Grasshoppa, depending on where the weekend is it generally takes anywhere from 48 to 72 hours or so. If you don't hear from them by Friday, try Joseph Ocbina at Josepho@corsair.com. He's a Customer service Rep and did right by me. So don't go in expecting a miracle jumpstart to your RMA. Just explain to him that your LEDs' and fan control is toast, that you submitted for RMA and when. Very helpful Gent. If he can't help you I'm reasonably sure that he can get the ball rolling. Just remember that Corsair handles A LOT of product and they don't have a separate RMA system(to my knowledge) for each branded product they sell. Hydro Series are handled in the same Division as Voyager, SSD, RAM, Audio etc. thumb.gif

My fan controller on the h100 never worked either and one fan doesnt spin unless i spin it by hand or blow on it first then it speeds up to the speed i specify with my front mounted fan controller.
