Radiators: Best Performer @ 1450 rpm

Hi! I am trying to find out whats the best choise for a radiator that :

- Its 3x120
- Its going to be cooled by Corsair SP quiet edition (1450 rpm)
- Has to have slim profile ~30cm (its going to be placed on top of a 600t)

I am in between Swiftech MCR320-XP Radiator and Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 Full Copper 360mm

According to martins liquid lab the two are solid performers at 1450rpms, what do you think? Any suggestions?

Your charts are pretty much useless, at least at the resolution my laptop is using (1366 x 768). Can't read the print, however, it really doesn't matter. You seem to already have the answer. If Martin's work says they are good rads for your situation, then you can trust that. Might want to consider the noise factor between the two, or maybe the cost.

I changed the charts to the one that matters. Ok propably i will walk the NexXxoS path it seems that has better build quality and all copper construction.

Have you considered the XSPC EX rad? (if it fits)

Thanks for the suggestion, it seems an option to consider but am not sure about the dimensions since it exceeds 300mm height by far.
[ 121 x 35.5 x 395mm (WxDxH)]

is it too much for push/pull or just push? though i don't know what would be better (st30 p/p or EX only push)

Are you intending to mount the radiator inside the case or inside the space above the top grill? I also have a 600t with a 360mm up top, and if you go inside the case 30mm is pretty much the max amount of room you have, and with my ASRock extreme6 z77 motherboard it wasn't so much the heat sinks posing a problem as routing my top 8-pin power connector. Just giving you a heads up.

Also, the mod to fit a 360 is really really easy if you're having any hesitations. My 600t is my very first build and i had no issues at all chopping up my case.

the difference between the swiftech and alphacool is fins per inch.. with the lil
varience either is usable. id opt for the alphacool as youll prolly look to a lower
fan speed for even quieter operation and the alpha will perform better over the swiftech
will increase in temp..
alphacool UT is 10 fpi
swiftech is 20fpi

What case do you actually have?

Technically the swiftech radiator is the best because you can find them for 65 bucks. This might give you some more flexibility in your budget to focus on getting better quality products in your WC loop that will lower your temps. Plus, you say that you only have a 35mm space for a radiator. In which case, out of the radiators that would actually fit, you chart show that the swiftech one is the highest performing rad anyways.

If you want the best performance possible, the aqua computer airplex revolution radiator is probably the best ONLY because it cheats a little. It is actually a 3x140mm radiator than you can mount 120mm fans too.

The other things is don't go with the corsair quiet edition fans. They are totally useless.

List of better fans that cost less:

Swiftech helix

Sythe gentle typhoon AP-15

Cougar vortex

Possibly the xigmatek XAF series of fans (it claims to have a higher static pressure than the corsair ones)

Bitfenix specter pro

And what ever this is http://www.frozencpu.com/products/16099/fan-1003/Phobya_120mm_x_25mm_G-Silent_12_Black_Edition_-_2000_RPM_78353.html

I don't think you worded this the way you intended. The Swiftech may be the better bang for the buck, but it certainly is not "technically" the better rad because it is cheaper.

I go with less FPI. Less noise from fans as they can be slower and achieve good results. You reduce both the noise from the fan motor and from the air moving through the rad.
