hey new to the forum, looks like a good place to ask my question. on the asus rampage 4 extreme motherboards there is an extra 6 pin power socket to send a bit of extra power to the gpu's. the thing is my modular psu doesnt have any more 6 pin cables to connect into this. so my question is and i use an adapter or buy another 6 pin modular cable and plug this into the motherboard then into the 6 pin outlet on the cpu labeled SATA, or will different power voltages be coming out the the sockets labeled sata on the psu ? or are they just there for a guide.
