Baldur's gate is definitely their crowning achievement. If you compare what they released then vs. the market at the time. Then DA now vs. all of it's competition. Baldur's gate vs. Nox was no contest.

So good, maybe my favorite game ever. If you like old school rpg with lots of dialog choices, turn based combat, etc. It's something of a throwback by today's standards, but I still have it installed and it looks okay.

Yeah that's a sad announcement, considering a lot of their games were absolutely amazing! I hope that the next bioware game will be just as good. But I really doubt it.
