I thought about just running it 16 hours a day in Linux (I wish I could have figured out a way to run the same job 16 hours a day in Linux and 8 hours a day in Windows, but I couldn't).
Anyway. When there was a vacancy for an i7 folder on the Power Rangers team, I ran out and built up my new i7-2700k rig (White Ranger). That is what I will be doing TC folding with and is ONLY going to be Folding. I'm only doing TC folding in my i5-2500k for CAT3 until we can find a replacement for me on the team (hint, hint, hint people looking to join a great bunch of guys for Team Competition).
Then I will just run "Slave Driver" 16 hours a day on a Linux Distro and let it run FULL OUT, and during the day, either not bother with Windows Folding, or put it on a separate passkey so in case it doesn't finish jobs, it won't destroy my other passkeys.
Go ahead and do the Windows folding during the day and don't worry about getting a new passkey. I fold on my work computer 8 hours a day with no issues. Since the bigadv WUs are gone, there are not short deadlines, most WUs have about a two week deadline, so your rig should be able to get those done in Windows working 8 hours a day (unless the rig is a Pentium 4 or something like that). Anyway, point is, the deadlines are more than long enough for you to not have to worry about not completing WUs on time.

That would be nuts, we’d all have to get together to take them on! Especially the way the crappy WUs have been being dolled out!!
