Not giving in, just want to prioritise getting it running as its been too long. I may try bending some custom mounts for the 240 after its running.

What's causing the issue for it? The front CZ panel taking away mounting points to use "L" brackets or something?

My stuff still isn't in so extremely curious. Mounting a 140 in the bays hopefully and planning to steal your ideas biggrin.gif

Yeah essentially the mounting points line up with the mounts for the side panels. If I do something custom up or mount the fans front the radiator straight through the front panel it may work but I am a bit concerned about it breaking under weight.

I am also having issues getting the aquero to mount properly behind the front plate. If I had one complaint with CZ parts it's that there are NO instructions and as everything is modular it can get really complicated.

I'll push on through and eventually work it out.

Looking nice, and fortunately I won't have that issue. My radiator should be mounting on the 3rd and 5th slots so free and clear of the CZ mounting points. I didn't consider my FC6 though, guess I'll cross that bridge when everything arrives.

Goodluck

Yeah see I have the extended mid plate so they have to mount higher to accommodate the thickness. I'll be spending a number of hours tomorrow on it so hopeful things will work out.

Looking exceptional as always. Question for you, did you get the top 240 grill from ColdZero? And if so, how would you mount a radiator to it?

I didnt get it actually. At this point if I cant get something sorted with my 240 in the drive bays then I will be putting a 240 and grill up the top.

I believe you can just mount your 120mm fans directly to the grill and then a second set of screws through to your radiator.

I havent tried it but I am sure I have seen it done by someone.

My current problem is working out how you are supposed to mount the Aquero to the front drive cover. It seems like you are meant to mount it normally behind the cover and just line it up so the buttons come through but the allen nuts push the front cover out and it doesnt line up properly.

Unfortunately there is nowhere you can get instructions for cold zero parts so it take a while to work certain things out.

Also - my motherboard extenstion plate didnt come with res mounts??

I thought they came standard on all of them??

I guess not, it doesn't even look like your extension is threaded for the mounting plate.
