and i'll go with the gigabyte motherboard. but the video card for me is fine as it is, i don't play a lot of games mostly do video editing and music editing things like that, i will go with the evga card. for the hard drive whats the big difference between WD and seagate? for the cooler i have heard nothing but good things for the cooler i choose and i will stick with that. also my budget is at most $800
4-4-4-12 @ 2.2V? Too high for that latency.

Which motherboard? Boredom, this isn't dissing you or anything but the motherboard I linked is the same one as you suggested just different capacitors that will cut down around 5 years from its (more than likely) 6-10 years life. Get the S3 (I suggested) not the DS3, I regret getting mine.

Ohh, had I known you didn't game I would've just told you to keep the vc you chose.

As for the hard drive, get Seagate, trust me they're the best right now. Other than WD's Raptors.

The diffrence between the perp drives and the reg. western digital drives are that the perp drives are faster. I read it somewhere, but theyre comparable to Raided raptors if you do raid them.

And the 7300 is a terrible card, even for video editing, you should get a 7600GT, minimum.

Also, with that gigabyte motherboard, you wont be able to overclock very high, with the motherboard i suggested, you will because it uses the nforce4 chipset. =)
nForce 4 chipset never overclocked well with intel chips not compared to intel Chipsets.

Lol, not that we don't like it but if it's not good it's not good .

The nForce 6 series chipsets however are very good with intel. They made them for intel before they even thought about making them for AMD.
