Working on a project that involves sandwiching some equipment between two sheets of aluminum (each sheet 2.5mm thick, tapering holes already drilled in the corners). Having difficulty locating the threaded tubes (standoffs) needed..
I have a set of screws and threaded tubes that model what I am looking for, but the standoffs only allow for 9mm between the aluminum sheets, and I need approximately 25mm.
Here are some images of what I have.
What I need are the above standoffs in different lengths:
Threaded tubes/Standoffs
1" or longer (can cut/grind any excess length)
1.85mm thread diameter
4-5.5mm tube diameter
Edit: An alternative description for the item is:
#1-56 Threaded Standoff
Outside Dia: 5/32" - 7/32" acceptable range
Have looked in many places, but not finding what I need. Anyone have some recommendations for buying special items like this?
