The picture shows the mounting bracket/backplate which is the same as mine (I also have a Duniek pot) and it is good for s775, 1366, am3, etc.

Just confirm that all the parts in the picture are what you are getting and you shouldn't have any issues. tongue.gif

Here is mine and you can see the bracket is the same.

Edit: the other mobo i was looking at might not work out. Would a ASUS P5Q SE/R LGA775 Motherboard for $40.00 be a decent board to start with?

As I recall the Rampage 2 Extreme was a great board to bench with DICE for 775 socket chips, best of luck. I really like the 775 socket idea because you can lose a lot of hardware going down this road if you are not careful. Insulation is your best friend, kneadable eraser, vaseline, and liquid electrical tape are all great IMO.

Well it looks like i am starting with Kneadable eraser haha biggrin.gif



Yeah i figure ill start with 775 and once i get more comfortable with it ill move up to some better hardware
