Hello,
I'm hoping someone with experience can help me with this issue.
Basically I have a friend who has a VoIP phone (Snom 320) on a dynamic IP.
The VoIP provider registers the phones number to their current IP.
The problem is they have a dynamic IP and it changes frequently which means to get the VoIP working again you need to contact the provider every time and re-register the IP.
What I want to do is setup a transparent proxy on a VPS between the home internet connection and the provider. So basically the provider will only ever see the one static IP of the VPS.
So how would you go about doing it?
PS: No one suggest that I get a static IP as it isn't an option. DDNS is also not an option as the provider does reverse lookups
