How do I completely remove my signature?

I'm wondering how I can completely remove my signature? I went to edit it, I deleted it, I hit preview and then I hit save. But I still have some kind of extra line at the bottom of all my posts now which wasn't there before. Am I missing some "use no signature" button or something?

I think you just discovered a bug.  I checked in the My Profile area and there is absolutely nothing in there such as "Always show my signature", or anything of that nature.

It's like advanced alien technology! :)

I don't know if I can really call it a "bug" anymore because, well, do a Preview of your signature:  you'll see the line.  I think it's just another poor design element of this platform.
