Not sure if you realize that I am trying to disprove the "20% less pixel" bs.

Also not sure if you realize the iPhone scored equal to the LG phone (Anandtech's benchmark) in this test.

Not sure if you notice the Lg has a 720p screen. Which takes more to run the same bench.

Same for the s3.

Thats where the 20% more pixels come from, poke.gif

It is 20% less pixels...

OMG, an independent reviewer who I haven't heard of got a higher result on an iPhone 5. Relevant. rolleyes.gif

Not sure if you all realize the Egypt benchmark was an offscreen test.

That's like saying AnandTech/Guru3D's tests cannot be trusted. Hothardware has been doing hardware tests for a while now. But that doesn't stop you from believing independent user's tests in this forum. Very relevant rolleyes.gif

That's from Hothardware?

Never heard of it neways.

He's repeating the PR, usually Apple says that kind of crap even when they're merely equal like now.

Yes, because it had 20% less pixels to render.

If you're playing a smartphone game, are you going to pull out the iPhone5 screen and put it in the LG? Or are you going to put the LGs screen on the iPhone 5? Who cares if it has less pixels than the iPhone 5, the GPU side of the hardware is slower but with a phone its an all in one package, the screen resolution makes up for that. Offscreen results at the same resolution matter less than native results.

We are, but we sohuld be comparing the 1080p results where the LG owns.

Why is the iPhone 5 bad? Give me real reasons, not "IT PERFORMS SLIGHTLY SLOWER THAN PHONE X" because I can guarantee you will never notice the difference between the two outside of benchmarks unless you decide to keep the same phone for far longer than the average contract would run for.

You two are clutching at straws with the whole 20% less pixels thing, sure, the A6's GPU is slower...Except as a package (ie. The only way you'll ever get it, or the Krait), it's faster unless you happen to enjoy playing your smartphone games on a HDTV, quite frankly it's humiliating as an Android owner to see people argue crap like that. At this point you're arguing performance differences that just don't show up in the real world for 4+ years (By which time most people will be on the iPhone 6S or Galaxy S VII or HTC Five XL or something) and using semantics that don't apply to the real world and never will to "prove" your points, yes, the iPhone 5 has 20% less pixels...Link me to an iPhone 5 with the same amount of pixels as the LG as a retail and still mobile product, then you can compare results at the same resolution on the native screen fairly, either that or run all the games on that LG at a 20% lower resolution.

Never hearing of a review site doesn't make their articles irrelevant. Get that fact inside your head. Your ignorance level is mind-boggling.

It is definetely a good phone.

I am just clutching at straws to show bengal + Foolsmasher what they do every day.

The iPhone5 i is the worse performing one, and what about putting the display onto a 1080p TV like most phones can do and some people do do?

No-one is clutching straws out of the pair of us. The LG phone is an S4 Krait QUAD core and a superior GPU.

I think the point is last week the iPhone5 was the renewed JEsus phone and it turns out it's not that cracking and will be bested within a month or two, if that.
