stand sucks but the 27 inch looks interesting.

but really this seems like something I could possibly be very interested in, I'll wait for reviews. The stand sucks but otherwise, nice (and the stand can always be switched out later)

Really very interesting monitors and high time that Dell updated their 'entertainment' monitors. The S-Series in particular has been quite disappointing in the past and often outshone in all aspects by other manufacturers' offerings. A few extra things to note, though:

- The 23" model features a low-haze matte screen not a glossy screen. Very similar to the IPS237L.

- Only the 27" model is VESA mountable. The remaining models lack VESA-housing.

Dam 27 inch 1920x1080 IPS and glossy and under $400 that is what I have wanted for ever. I don't want a 27 inch with those massive resolutions that you need SLI to play your games smoothly. I'm in for one when do they start shipping :-)

Yeah it is strange. On the website it does say Oct 12th. But when I got my order confirmation it says Sept 26th which is Weds next week. I guess we'll see....
