Not sure if this fits here or not, but here goes.
Since the day they were revealed, I've loved the look of the Radeon HD 6000 series coolers. They're sleek, symmetrical, stylish, and a few more 'S' words. Recently I've been saving my hard earned cash for a shiny new GTX 670 4GB by EVGA, and I can't really apply those 'S' words to the cooler on that card.
With all the searching I've done, pictures I've stared at, and measurements I've tried to make I still cannot discern whether a Radeon HD 6870/6970 cooler will fit to a GTX 680 PCB (not the 670 PCB, 4GB models have the full length 680 PCB).
Has anybody tried doing this already or am I just completely insane for even suggesting it?
Any help, experience, or whatever that anybody can provide is appreciated.
