gskill trident X ddr3 2400mhz problems

Thread Starter
I recently bought some trident x 2400 ddr3 memory, it's currently running @2400mhz with 10-12-12-31 timings and in dual channel mode(confirmed by bios and cpu-z and aida64). I bought this memory in hopes of getting better benching scores. My previous memory was older gskill 1600 ddr3 and more recently the Samsung low profile/low voltage green memory which I had running at 1866 with 9-9-9-24 timings.

This new memory is running slow, WEI only scores it a 7.8(which I know doesn't mean a whole lot) Aida 64 memory benchmark I can't crack 20,000 m/b on write/copy/or the read tests. Sandra also only hits 20,000. My physics score in 3dmark 2011 took an 800 point hit and my super pi 1mb time took a .2 second drop off. I have no idea what the problem is, I assumed this ram would smoke these benchmarks, and reading reviews of it on other Ivy based systems, it does. I'm not sure if there's a bios setting that's messed up, maybe chipset drivers that aren't functioning correctly? I have no idea, any help or suggestions you guys might have would be greatly appreciated.

That's literally double the price that I paid for the Gskills and really doesn't help my problem, every benchmark I've seen with this memory has been light years ahead of what I'm getting, it's slower than my samsung ram running @1866 mhz in every benchmark I've ran, yet memtest ran for multiple hours last night and not a single error and according to programs, it's running at it's reported speed

20,000 m/b on write/copy is really low even for single sided Hynix,i would run memtest86+ just to make sure your modules are "OK"
