vga?check!dvi?check!hdmi?
to hdmi owner and futur owner.after a bit of testing i am pretty confident that a toshiba 24sl410u can only be autorised to accept default of 1920x1080 via vga!
even baught a dvi to hdmi,i wont bother with a display port adaptor (unless someone actually tested it and know w7 will default to 1920x1080 or 1080p (hd basicly)becauser so far all other i have tested :w7 only accept vga as a computer input.wich is probably another hdmi stupidity!
moral of story?stay with dvi!or dvi double!dont touch anything corporative like display port and hdmi!i know i know vga bandwith is so wide it isnt an issue for high definition!
question:is the conversion from digital to analogue very demanding ressource wise?i think its less then scaling a youtube from 1280x1024 to 1920x1080 at 60 hertz.just wondering!
anyway just taught i would let you know how things went.so for 24sl410u owner?nope you cant default to 1920x1080 via hdmi.something is preventing it!tho the screen is good for 1920x1080x75 hertz via vga!hahaha stupidity on a massive level!got to love royalities!
