Here's another one I've been contemplating lately... car stereo components. Not only mesh, conveniently shaped in circles, but also available are a lot of interestingly shaped speaker covers which would double well as fan grilles if lightly modified.

true, i got a perfect round 240mm mesh from a subwoofer to use in a 922 for the store i used to work. Those car amplifiers with aluminium housing are great material for transistor heatsinks biggrin.gif
