Don't think so, but could you explain how loose cables can rattle? Afaik, they don't move or anything?

Fans make the case vibrate slighty, this will cause loose connector plastic to vibrate against the metal backing and/or motherboard tray, and it sounds annoying. Been there, done that.

+1.I had a a side panel fan wire bend and touch a case fan once the side panel was put on and then stop when I tool the side panel off. that drove me crazy until I figured out what it was.

I pulled the back panel off, but I couldn't really hear anything. I made some wires touch the panel, but they didnt make ane noise. I had a slight feeling that the noise was coming from the other side (inside).

The problem is that so many components make noise, that it's hard to find what's causing this. It's kinda weird even,,since it's a very faint/silent noise, but it's still audible over the other noises.

I know you said the gpu fan is OK, but you can start with trying a different card...
I had this happen once...didn't sound like the gpu, though....smile.gif
