been tryin to overclock my 2500k to 4.2mhz or higher. followed a few guides and changed my bios a few times. i can overclock to 4.0 while being stable. what i noticed was the voltage would go to 1.24 while idle and go down to 1.18 while stressed. i thought it should be the opposite. plus i cant overclock passed 4.0

how can i fix this?

Are you using the offset voltage as if you set it to a negative number it will drop your vcore from the idle vcore. But it could also be vcore drop which can happen depending on the quailty of the mobos vrm and the amount of them. Also set your ram to its default timings if you overclocked it or tighten the timing values.
