Should I be worried about leaks?

Should I be worried about leaks? I am running two 90 degree fittings very close together (see picture) and I'm worried the stress will cause a leak.

Those are barb fittings right? No clamps or zipties?

That depends on what sort of pressure it took to fit the tube over the barbs ?

If you are unsure or overly concerned about leaks then get some Zip ties or some liquid cooling clamps and if you can find a hardware store close by some hose clamps (jubilee clips) !!

And have you run a good amount of leak test time ?

Oh I should have clarified. I'm not worried about the barbs leaking. It's 7/16 tubing on 1/2 barbs and I'm going to add zipties. I'm worried if the stress will cause the fittings to leak at the joint.

As long as you have not over tensioned the joint between block and fitting they should be good there,
Also as long as you have given the tube a reasonable amount of room to contract under the heat then you should be good to go thumb.gif

Still if you are unsure then run a leak test better to be safe than sorry.

Should be fine, it looks ok, just test it first obviously and if there are any leaks, maybe you need to invest in compressions?

to ease your concern of the un-eveness, use a extender under the lowest fitting. so you have a straight
connection. i use extenders for crystal link connections and they are perfectly fine in alignment.
unless the board is going to "flex" or be flexed, the connection should be fine.

your choice of barb/hose is excellent, i have never had to use a clamp or tie.. tight connection.
