I am running a 3960x @ 5.0ghz, two 690 gtxs over clocked. Swiftek hd320 with push pull fans. Plus another nine 120 fans (fifteen fans in all) 2400mhz 16gb of ram, a sound blaster HD. Ten USB devices, four hard drives. Two in raid 0. The psu calculation said I was running at the limit or a little over.

I never ran a kill a watt... I am running three monitors and a corsair sp2500 along with my POS pc... so I must be pulling about close to 1800 watts from the outlet combined...

I doubt you hooked them up to your psu though...maybe if you had 4-5 fermi's hooked up then maybe.

In any case, enjoy your purchase!

I ran my config through Asus web site (of course I didn't add the monitors and speakers... duh.. I was just stating about what my entire setup pulls through the outlets on the wall). So here is my pea brained idea of what kind of power I'm pulling through my xfx. 650 watts from video cards, 250 from CPU 50 watts from memory 50 watts from sound card. Ssd's like 10 watts, water cooling plus nine fans that's fifteen high performence fans (fifteen in all) that's 200 watts. I'm around 1100 watts right now, then I have all kinds of USB hook ups high performence keyboard, mouse , 7.1 tiamat gaming head set, nvidia 3d vision, printer, blah blah blah... mabey about ten to twelve at any given time. That puts me about 1200. I just wanted some over head thumb.gif I forgot to mention I am really cheesey!

P.s in no way am I being sarcastic or mean to any one I am really just a noob I have not a clue what I'm doing but I love you all cuz we spend way to much overclocking and building..
