All good fans...I agree completely! I have a set of the Yates for my radiator and they do really well for the price smile.gif

Clipping the silicone pins down in order to squeze the yate into a 20mm depth.

Internal shot to show just how tight it is. Motherboard stand-off next to the Yate.

Yikes! On the left you can see the 20mm Yate squeeze. On the right is bit of embarassment.... zip ties on the BitFenix, shameful but effective for now.

Install protip: If using Silverstone SST-FF122 filters, try and find the silicone pins with the ball heads.

They fit perfectly through the mounting holes, and still allow for tight fit and still have quick removal. The flat headed ones create a slight wedge between the filter and the case. The ball-headed pins are shipped with the BitFenix Spectre Pro fan.

Arctic F8 80mm PWM installed w/ fan grills.

Mobo I/O shield in place.

Really looking forward to seeing how this build progresses!

I built a gaming HTPC in the same case last year, here is a link to some photos pf my build that might be interesting:

I just went through that album. Very slick! Did you have to paint the inside of your Silverstone, or did it come OEM black? Good work on blacking out the ugly-betty Noctua's. The all-black just works on your case. I'm really having a hard time accepting chrome grills on the Torch after seeing how good the all-black looks on your HTPC.

Glad you liked the photos.

Yes, I had the inside of the case powder coated black by the same guy who made the custom fan brackets.

I'm a real detail freak so it had to be colour matched, even if you cannot see any of this work now it is located in my TV cabinet!

Nothing helps performance more than stickers!

Thermal paste for H100.

Corsair H100 mounted on CPU and radiator hanging from the top access panel.

The access panel is resting on a brace installed on the right side. This simple addition helps maintenance incredibly!

I received three more cougars in the mail today. One cougar will replace the left intake which is a stand-in Scythe Kaze-Jyuni SY1225SL12H. The other two cougars may never go in. I initially had them planned to augment the radiator for push/pull duty, but that may not be needed. In preliminary OC testing, the 2500K clocked up to 4.5GHz without breaking a sweat. Temprature is great. I'm not sure I will need the extra 1-2 degress, but I don't know if I can leave them on the shelf either. rolleyes.gif

More pictures of a booted machine and some overclocking results coming later today.

Very nice result. Will keep an eye out for some extended overclocking results so you can put all the airflow to use smile.gif

I'd flip around the pins on top if possible tho. The top would look very slick without those 12pins sticking out.
