Custom loop questions

Thread Starter
Well after thinking about it for ages (years) im gonna ditch the Corsair H70 and go custom loop just for my CPU atm tongue.gifbiggrin.gif (H70 aint cutting it at 4.5GHz 35-45 degrees idle 70-90 load mad.gif)

Im either thinking a custom loop kit like this one

XSPC RayStorm D5 RX360 Water Cooling Kit

Or build my own loop using something like this

XSPC D5 Dual Bay Reservoir and Pump Combo

XSPC RayStorm CPU Waterblock for Intel

PrimoFlex Pro LRT Tubing UV Blue 1/2ID 3/4OD 10ft Retail

Monsoon Free Center Compression Fittings, Matte Black, 6 pack

PrimoChill Antimicrobial Tube Coil Silver

XSPC RX360 Radiator

With just standard distilled water no dyes and of course cooled with 6 Scythe 120mm Gentle Typhoon 1850RPM Fan devil.gif

I just wanna know whats the pros and cons of each and in your opinions which would keep everything cool better biggrin.gif

Thanks wheee.gif

Primochill tubing is still having Plasticizer issues which i have experienced first hand so i would stay away from it.

I am going with some XSPC UV Green tubing this time and they also offer UV Blue so i would give it a try -

I would look in to a Alphacool UT60 rad instead because its full copper and will perform a little better with your choice of fans -

Everything else looks perfect.

I would go with a full custom look so its easy to add more down the road plus i like to go all out the first time oppose to having buyers remorse.
