I had a look around and I couldn't find anything specific either. You could always download it and see what happens... tongue.gif What specific part number is the chip?

I've got an old x346 running server 2008 as our test domain controller. The onboard nic's are "Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet Adapter" with PCI VEN_14E4&DEV_1659. Doing a search for that second part may help you find more information. For the purpose of a PFsense Router... this server really really really doesn't fit too well. You figure it's power requirements, use of scsi drives, and over all size make it a pretty bad choice for just a simple router. Can I suggest going on eBay and looking for an older firewall and using it instead. I know you can get an older Astaro (now Sophos) ASG320 model that can be made to run PFsense and use probably 1/4 the power this IBM is going to use.
