So, we had kind of left our printer without a cartridge or printing for a bit long (a few weeks?) and when we stuck some new carts in we noticed one colour was entirely missing. The Yellow colour
So, today some printer head cleaning cartridges that I bought had arrived and I got to installing them. They contain a clear fluid which I believe is Isopropol alcohol, or something like that.
After spending a good colour printing colour test images I figured it had finished cleaning.
The idea is the fluid cleans the blocked heads, and this appeared to be working as I printed a full colour scale image, and the colour that came from the most was yellow. Eventually, the prints came out with no colour in them at all, thus I believed it had unblocked the heads.
So, I installed the normal cartridges in the printer and set to printing a colour that had yellow in it a lot (Winnie the Pooh
).
This did not turn out as I expected (a full colour image) instead, I got only the yellow....
Any ideas what's going on here? The yellow is now unblocked.... but I don't get ANY other colour at all lol.
